DTN COMMENTS:   Formula totals for last week are lower: KS 52,296(-15,457), 
NE 36,728(-15,110), TX 51,229(-6,999). Total trade volume are mixed:  KS 
59,054(-9,637), NE 51,186(-11,101), TX NA confidentiality. New showlists 
appear to be higher in Nebraska/Colorado and Texas, and somewhat higher in 
Kansas. Bids and asking prices have yet to be established, and significant 
trade volume will likely be delayed until the second half of the week.

Beef cutouts are higher at midday (Choice 352.78 +1.57, Select 346.75 +2.95), 
with light box movement (28.45 lds of choice cuts, 6.70 lds of select cuts, 
3.80 lds of trim, and 5.89 lds of ground). Live cattle futures are mixed, 
mostly sharply higher, while feeder issues are sharply higher.
